Mtubatuba

Mtubatuba with its adjacent parks and game reserves is our next stop on our way back north. It took us 6 hours with a short break to drive 370 km to Mtubatuba. The road quality is very high, you just have to look out for cows, monkeys and people crossing the highway. Especially people cross the highway in a quite relaxed manner.
We are staying at locals for the first time. You also rarely come across white South Africans in Mtubatuba. Our resort manager Eon is a very friendly guy but you can soon spot some differences. They try to make the place of good quality but fail at several levels, they party with friends inside the premises and do not keep the place that clean but it all doesn't matter. We are here for varied experience.
These local native guys remind me of our gypsies. They are of very similar nature with all its beauties and handicaps. I love how Eon smiles all the time and his laughter is contagious not mentioning his energy. We loved our stay here.
