Let the Journey Begin

All went smooth on the day of departure until we reached the airport. At the luggage drop counter Petr was confronted with an officer whose job was to check our passports and this man decided to grill us on the idea that as Petr had only single page empty on his passport and two pages are required supposedly he would not be allowed to board the plane if so. The officer took his time on the phone checking and I was really scared and upset that Petr knowingly ignored this buearocratic nonsense. In the end we were allowed to proceed. What a relief! Petr was sorry how his plot to stay at home did not come out as he had planned to. The next problem came after we fully enjoyed our time at Heathrow sucking in its metropolitan, multicultural, and international atmosphere having Japanese dinner at wagamama - yummy Japanese meals and beer with chili. We boarded our already late Airbus 380 to be left sitting on the plane with no aircon for yet another hour. We managed to take off safely in the end.
